In development: not installable yet
Agents that check what your repository claims.
Truecount is a GitHub App. It reviews pull requests, and once a week it reads the whole repository for what no diff shows: a README that says twenty-six where the code says thirty-six, a rule in your guidelines the code stopped following, a helper nothing calls any more.
The agents
Pull request review
One review when a pull request opens, against your own guidelines file. Anything it left out, it lists.
Docs audit
Runs the commands your docs tell people to run and checks the numbers they state. It edits documentation only, never code.
Code health
A weekly look at the repository as a whole, kept in one issue it updates rather than refiles. It fixes at most one finding per run.
Bug reproduction
Label an issue and it tries to reproduce it. It reports what it ran and what happened. It does not write the fix.
What it will not do
- Run your code on our machines. Anything that executes code runs in your own GitHub Actions runner.
- Hold a key to your repository. Agents send their changes to our server, which checks every path against that agent's rules and opens the pull request itself. No agent may edit workflows, its own config or your guidelines.
- Let strangers spend your allowance. On a public repository, pull requests from outside contributors are reviewed when a maintainer asks.
- Merge anything. Every change arrives as a pull request for you to review.
- Train on your code.
